"In a moment of frustration about my insurance rates and my insurance company, I completed one of those web inquiries about getting the best rate for insurance. I never complete those because I thought that I would rather pay a higher price than have my phone ringing and pinging all day and all night with solicitation. Well, as soon as I pressed SEND, I just knew I’d regret it! However, the stars aligned somehow and I received a call from an insurance company that I actually recognize and used to be a customer of. State Farm. The agent’s name is Jordan Holt. He is an active listener, he is professional, courteous informed, empathetic, me and I really lucked out when I answered that call. I’m saving over $500/year and still have a policy to add! Realized that my former agent was gouging me. 🤦‍♀️ (Major company with famous actor as a spokesperson.). Anyway I’m grateful for Jordan following up on the inquiry. The documents populated in the app right away. I’m very pleased so far."

"I spoke with Paul, I just hung up, THANK YOU , 😊, what a NICE man, he got me a GREAT deal, 👍 Progressive can kick rocks, I am 53 years old, I have never had a ticket since I earned my dl @ 16yo, I was paying 156.00 a month, then the renewal for minimal full coverage went up to 170.00, WTH, right? Thats 500/500 for comp and collision also. So Paul at State Farm gets me 0.00/500, towing, car rental, for...130.00 a month! YAY!! THANK YOU A THOUSAND TIMES OVER!"

"Uninformed and unprofessional support team and reps. Added on an extra over $200 a month without my consent a couple months after having the policy. I didn't learn about such until the day before my payment was due. Was not informed. I found out when I tried making my payment a month early. Nobody was willing to help me the day before. And my account rep Molly decided to hang up on me after continuously avoiding the issue at hand. Which was that they're charging me so much extra, and I didn't have the information I needed to make the correct payment on time. Edit: Not only did you underwrites not quote me properly, you are suggesting that I have to pay the difference for your mistake... Nice try. I spoke with you and all you could tell me that I'm now expected to pay double, and "pay back the difference" due to your own mistakes. I started at 275 and got moved up to 498 Molly ended the call after spending 10 minutes completely avoiding the issue at hand, not listening, and repetitively repeating herself as if something was gonna change. No she did not "hang up when things got heated". She hung up because she was upset that she was way too incompetent to respond to my request in an effective way. I was getting nowhere and repeating herself not only annoyed me, but the fact she didn't have anything relevant to say might have hurt her own feelings. She feels an inclination for me to allow her to avoid the issue. Hanging up was disrespectful, and unwarranted. Especially when the matter had to do with making an on time payment that day. She did the absolute most to not address the issue at hand. You're backing her and your company up because that's business but it's not one that I respect for stated reasons. Good luck bud"

Sounds like it started out fine and Molly ended the call when things got heated. We do our best to give an accurate quote at the time of application. However, our underwriters sometimes discover more information, which can change the price. For privacy reasons, I can’t speak to your situation specifically in a Google review, but I’m glad you and I were able to discuss it on the phone."

"State Farm does not consider Seniors when it comes to prices of insurance, keep going up on payments even if you are a safe driver!"

"I called to get a quote on insurance Steve was very professional very polite and very down to earth. He helped me with all my needs as well as bundling my renters insurance with my auto at an incredible discount. My time spent on the phone with Steve was well spent he attended to my every needs before I could even ask this employer should be proud to have such a tactful caring employee. ... "I have had State Farm auto insurance for years. They have always offered the best & cheapest deals out of all other insurance companies. My agent, Nick, has been exceptionally helpful and explains everything in a way I can understand. My only problem with State Farm recently, is the scamming in the underwriters and/or billing department."

"They are always helpful and friendly and go above and beyond. When I was first looking for insurance after getting back to Michigan and getting a car again they were the best deal.i could find even more so than the agent I used to use in Muskegon also State Farm. Caleb helped me through that process and alot after and Ted was awesome answering all my questions and explaining how things work with me trying to decide on an upgrade on my car I had."

"Been with this agency branch for years, pay our bills on time. Recently the last check we sent was lost. However this branch never reached out to us informing us that our check was lost and our bill was not paid so we went three weeks without insurance without being informed. When trying to rectify this issue this branch was very rude and inconsiderate. They made the experience horrible and never apologized once about this issue. I highly suggest never going to this branch."

"I really regret you had this experience Mark. I can't say what happened to the check other than it was not received by State Farm. In your comments you suggested there was a big gap in your coverage. It's a great thing that a grace period exists. This allowed the bill to be paid without a gap in coverage. I'm also thankful that my office reached out to you yesterday and made you aware of the issue before the deadline to pay and prevent cancellation. Please feel free to contact us anytime if we may be of assistance."

"I was previously happy with my prior insurer USAA, but was looking to see if I could save a little bit of money. Ryan Steele quickly and thoroughly helped me navigate which coverages were available, and the cost. I ended up with more coverage on my homeowners and car insurance while saving about $400 a year. "This has to be the WORSE State Farm my wife and I ever had! We transferred to a new State Farm recently and absolutely loved it! I told them that this State Farm felt very dirty to me and they played way to many games. The new State Farm we are at now saved us $30 a month compared to these robbers who said we couldn’t do it. My advice to you- Look around at other State Farm’s!"

I can be reached directly using agent@churchsf.com. I would really like to investigate this issue. Of course I want to our customers to be satisfied and if we drop the ball I’d like to understand how. Perhaps I can train my representatives to better serve customers in the future."
